Heading off for two week east coast visit and deep cleaning before I leave - hate coming home to messy house - thought I‘d share this DIY cleaning book I ❤️.

#HowToTuesday

Anyone else into making cleaning supplies? Artificial fragrances give me mad headaches and these “recipes” are safe for babies/pets. Basically vinegar, essential oils, alcohol and water.

Only critique: it should say “toxin” free, not chemical free. Everything is a chemical.

Wan.der.love Author also has a great website with tips - I have zero affiliation with her, just appreciate her ideas!! https://www.cleanmama.net/ 6y
LazyDays I love to clean my cabinets with essential oils! 6y
Samplergal When I had my townhouse in Baltimore, I used natural stuff all the time. The only chemically thing I used was laundry detergent that wasn‘t “natural”. That stuff just doesn‘t cut it imho. I know what you mean with the headaches. And all the smells!! 6y

Gina I use vinegar and baking soda powder on everything! Works great and so much cheaper to buy! 6y
Wan.der.love @LazyDays me too!! Love how clean and fresh they smell after 6y
Wan.der.love @Samplergal I tried “natural” detergent and was quickly vetoed after one wash by the family 😂 so I‘m with you there. That and toothpaste - the organic toothpaste just doesn‘t work for me. 6y
Wan.der.love @Gina my sink has never looked shinier than when I use vinegar and baking soda scrub on it. And soooo much cheaper. 6y
