Junie B. Jones and That Meanie Jim's Birthday
Junie B. Jones and That Meanie Jim's Birthday | Barbara Park
4 posts | 22 read
Junie B. Jones is an appealing, irrepressible young character who's not afraid to say just what she thinks. Kids will love laughing with her (and at her ) as she grapples with the all too familiar challenges of life at school and home.

Pickpick

This is a contemporary realistic fiction book. I read the entire book. This is a good representation of the genre because it uses real life issues. In this book, it is about Junie B. Jones, who didn't get invited to Jim's birthday and she got upset because she was the only one who was not invited. I feel like children can relate to this issue.

I love this book, and the whole series because it uses real life situations which the children can relate to. This book is kindergarten through second grade level depending on if it is a read aloud or silent read.
