Finished this one today as well.

Growing up in the midst of poverty & drugs is hard enough but manageable with supportive adults in their lives. But now best friends Tai and Mila reach that age where their interests diverge and new friends enter the picture. Plus a dark secret threatens to pull them apart. I enjoyed these characters and can‘t wait to read the companion, Dough Boys.
