Another great Squirrel Girl volume. This is the last one with this artist, so hopefully the next ones will be okay. This Volume seemed to have a more complicated story to it than some of the other ones. It was an okay story, not my favorite, but not the worst either.

Lauredhel @HannaPolkadots FWIW - and the whole “if you liked X you'll like Y“ thing doesn't always pan out - I also love Ms Marvel, Lumberjanes, Pumpkinheads, The Tea Dragon Society, Check Please, Fence, Heartstopper, everything by Tillie Walden, Paper Girls. Also Saga but that has a very different feel. 4y

More Squirrel Girl. More delicious gnocchi. Lunch was pretty great.

(Yes, I do put cilantro on everything savoury. I still have to throw out a goodly amount of each bunch because I can‘t use it fast enough.)

kgriffith I was just talking about this with @brandybear22 because I recently ordered dried cilantro from Penzeys! I constantly buy it and inevitably let it die a painful and icky refrigerator death. So our guacamole used dried, which lends enough flavor for it to be present, but not overwhelming (I don‘t love cilantro, but I don‘t hate it either) 👩‍🍳🤓 5y

xicanti @kgriffith I‘ll have to investigate this. Basically the only time I finish a bunch of fresh is when I make carne asada, since there‘s a ton in the marinade. 5y

The Squirrel Girl recap page makes me SO HAPPY, especially when it references how Doreen believes all her friends with animalish code names can also talk to their namesake animals.

We must never forget the time she introduced Jonathan the Actual Wolverine to Gabby the Awesome Clone of a Clone of Wolverine. NEVER EVER EVER.

Really, all of Squirrel Girl is awesome. I grinned my way through this whole issue. #24in48
