Listening to this book this week. The narrator sounds like the guy who does the narration for The First 48. I keep waiting to find out if they are going to solve the case. But it's not that kind of book.
Have you ever listened to a book and the narrator's voice sounds familiar and you are waiting for a certain phrase.

Pickpick

Sometimes you read a book that you love. That‘s engaging and inspiring and so smart and unique that you don‘t think your review skills are up to the challenge. John Woman is that kind of book. Unlike anything Mosley has ever wrote, John Woman approaches history in a way that makes you reevaluate everything you know. Rarely does a book make you think while keeping you enthralled as well as John Woman. Dion Graham‘s narration is masterful.

Leftcoastzen Wow that is quite a recommendation! I like him anyway though I have not read all his books 6y
Guildedearlobe @Leftcoastzen I have a feeling Mosley fans will be split down the middle on this one, either loving or hating. It‘s definitely not one of his usual books, even for someone who blends genres already. 6y
lauralovesbooks1 Sold! Pickup it up tomorrow 6y
Lola I didn‘t even realize he had a new book coming out until saw this in a bookstore last night. Can‘t wait to read it! 6y
