The examples are dated. Digital content, technologies and how we interact, play, learn, create on this great universe of the Internet changes constantly but the basic principles of Lessig argument are interesting and do make clear that the Read Only industry has had its hour of glory and that the RW (Read Write) generation enabled by digital technologies will change the business models. #nonfiction #rec
3⭐️ because it's 10 years old.

Lennon, McCartney and Harrison grew as artists through remixing others works, especially classical works and made something different. Stars on 45 did the same to them, fandom does it through vids, fanfics, graphic arts. Remix is as old as human's creativity. Corporations may try to control it but it's kinda hopeless. We, the people, will still write, draw, play with stories, art works. You can't kill creativity. #heyjune
