“Three Blind Mice“ is a traditional nursery rhyme because it uses almost all repetition and rhyme to tell a humorous story to young children.

“All the luggage they took was a comb“ I picked this quote because it is part of the story that rhymed.

Although this story is a classic, I don't think that it is appropriate for younger children. I think this story would be great for middle school and higher to talk about the literary devices and the deeper meaning behind the mice.

Three Blind Mice by John W. Ivimey. Folktale. This story is a creepy legend about three mice. The story is supposed to reference Protestant loyalists and the mice represent them. The story is about three mischievous mice who try to find some food at a house and end up getting chased out by a woman who cuts there tails off.

Blurb:
I like how this story portrays how blind creatures, whether that be a mouse or human, can do everything else that sighted people can do.

Review:
It is a fairy tale because there is a story of blind mice taking things and going on adventures. It has a repetition of words. “Three scared mice, three scared mice, ran for their lives, ran for their lives.“

The moral of the story is do not do something that will make something worse or put yourself in danger. This is great for kids because they always thing they're invincible and this shows to always listen because more than likely your parents know best.

“Three starved mice, three starved mice, came to a farm, came to a farm.“

The Beatles are a strange & wonderful & magical group. As such, sometimes when my husband listens to his vinyl and I hear them, certain parts get stuck in my head. This is the case with #ladymadonna and usually my first thought when I hear it is of the nursery rhyme because of the “See how they run” lyric that is repeated in the song. #heyjune
