From visionary creator Sean Murphy (Punk Rock Jesus, American Vampire) comes this new graphic novel featuring a radical take on the greatest rivalry in comics in Batman: White Knight! After years of epic battles, the Dark Knight finally finds a way to cure the twisted mind of his archenemy. The Joker...is now sane. The Clown Prince of Crime has now changed his ways, fighting for good in Gotham City, and it may just cause Batman to go over the edge of his own sanity. Writer/artist Sean Murphy takes the helm of this Batman/Joker story like no one else could, delivering an alternative examination of the relationship between the greatest rivals in the DC Universe, exploring the darkest corners of justice and madness. This new graphic novel is the latest in great stand-alone stories from DC Comics. Collects issues #1-8.

A well written and very timely take on the Batman/Joker dynamic, but the best character of the story was truly Harley Quinn. The story gave a nuanced view on issues such as class, police brutality, race relations, and the media. I was impressed when I read the first issue a while back and am glad the rest of the series fleshed out so well. I am glad there‘s a planned sequel, though otherwise the last panel would have annoyed me.

The Joker has gone sane!? Is it real? Is it just a trick? Is Batman the TRUE menace to Gotham!? Man, I enjoyed this fresh take on the Batman-Joker dynamic! Also, can we take a second to appreciate Bruce Wayne having to pretend to be pathetic and that he has NO CLUE who the villains in his house are!? Hooligans...😂😂😂

I thought this was an interesting take on the traditional Batman/Joker dynamic. The Joker gets assaulted by Batman who stuffs him full of antipsychotics and Jack Napier takes over. Napier shows Gotham that Batman is a true menace and shakes up the GCPD into acknowledging the threat. Of course, that's not the whole story. Great for casual Batman fans with a good storyline, even if it wrapped up a bit quickly.

@Timg138 read this and said I'd enjoy it. So far, so good! The Joker goes after the GCPD and Batman after a particularly violent assault where Batman overdoes the Joker with antipsychotics.

Cool Elseworlds title from DC. Second act of the book seemed a bit rushed, but a fun read.

I enjoyed this non-canon Batman story where the Joker turns sane. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Couldn't sleep, so I read this. VERY good! Seriously, adding this to my to-buy list. Bared so many of the complexities of these characters and the thing with Harley was great!

The Joker goes same and leads a revolution in Gotham against corruption and vigilantism. An exciting fresh look at the Batman/Joker dynamic with a great twist on Harley Quinn. May be a tad to procedural for some; lots of political wheeling and dealing, lots of long monologues, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
