pickThis was a great trilogy, my fathers favorite. It is a wonderful western, full of adventure and suspense. It shows the toughness of the early pioneers, the one with nature gift of the border men and the ways of the Indians! It‘s understandable the violence of the IndiansThe Zane family were early pioneers headed west, building small communities with army soldiers. I don‘t think they realized the Indians fear of losing their home and way of life.
