Yesterday, I went to my local bookstore to try and find presents and books for the book exchange and ended up buying books for myself and redeeming a free audiobook in the process.

Beautiful and earnest poetries.
It fits the best when reading just couple of pages everyday, under the sun, in the breeze, with rose honey tea. And then, you are sitting with your best friend, you, and you are telling love stories to your heart. 💫

I really enjoyed this book. I have seen some scathing reviews that it was trite and geared more towards tweens. I would argue that for those struggling with self love and self empathy, simplicity and kindness matters. As someone learning to be more gentle with myself I found it very much espoused the girl friends sitting at the kitchen table talk that the author was going for.

Life advice in poetic form. Perfect for graduates . . . and 40YOs.

Such a powerful little book. The poems and bits of wisdom contained within its pages made my heart lighter, empowered my spirit, and encouraged my soul. This is a book I will treasure and keep on my nightstand. Page 61 “Take time to carefully consider what you let be part of your being and your spirit.”

Heart Talk should be required reading! Littens, I‘ve formed a girl gang to support friends of mine who are aspiring artists!

Picked this up at the perfect time— I joined a workshop to seriously pursue finishing/editing/publishing my book and I‘ve felt super insecure lately. Cleo Wade‘s words were full of the exact encouragement I was looking for. It‘s an easy read I‘d recommend for anyone struggling with any insecurity or instability. Take care of yourself!
