This is an incredibly cute story that features a lovely story of Ruby visiting her grandmother for new year's celebrations accompanied by her animal friends. The story also serves to educate about the zodiac animals and features useful info and craft instructions in the back. The illustrations are super cute too. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a Chinese New Year picture book.

What a nice way to introduce the twelve Chinese zodiac animals to kids. Illustrations are extremely bright and go from edge-of-page to edge-of-page without white borders, which I love. A nice read aloud for Chinese New Year.

JoScho Super cute! Did you get your handle from Peppa Pig? If not that is what it makes me think of 😊 6y
MuddyPuddle @JoSch No, I got it from a kid's poem by Dennis Lee, a Canadian children's poet. 6y
