The Cornish village of Lanruan and its colorful inhabitants form the backdrop to the story of two men, Foley and Moss, who are partners in a successful small business manufacturing plaster pixies for the tourist trade, and Gwendolyn, the woman who inadvertently causes the beginning of a rift between them, in the first American edition of the Booker Prize-winning author's first novel. Original.

I don‘t have a partner for #BBRC but I love a questionnaire so....

1. Grow Up so far. I‘ve already completed 4 of them
2. MiddleGrade - I‘ll have to actively seek out books.
3. 🤔🤔🤔
4. Non-Fiction Graphic Novel - I don‘t read GNs
5. Memoirs of a Geisha
6. Twilight. Love the 1stbook but I hate the 1st movie so much.

LibrarianRyan Yeahhh. There are quite a few people (including myself) who will be happy to reccomend MG books. Plus if you check out the #MGbuddyread tag you can see some good one, and we shall be suggesting new books for that group this month. 5y

Nope, nope, nope. This book is unbearably boring. And I went into it expecting a quiet English village novel. It was so quiet I could hear myself falling asleep. When a book takes me almost two weeks, & I can only got halfway through it, it‘s a bad book.
