Pickpick

Another fun entry in the Daisy Dalrymple series!

Daisy is on the case at the Tower of London, when a somewhat closed area Murder means only a select number of people are suspects. I enjoy this series to see the progression of the characters‘ lives…this one is book 16, I believe, so you can imagine all of the backstory of the main characters by this point. Perfect distraction listen!

Bookmail today! Two from @Lcsmcat - so sweet of you to share! I got the cozy mystery that‘s tagged because I will be visiting the Tower of London soon. But the last book was a complete surprise- our art museum sent it to us as a thank you for our support!

Lcsmcat I‘m glad they arrived safely. Enjoy! 6y
Itchyfeetreader Fun fact... I got married at the Tower of London! Lots of confused tourists in my wedding photos hoping I was someone famous (spoiler - I am not!) 6y
Mdargusch That is really cool @Itchyfeetreader ! Where in there did you get married? 6y

Itchyfeetreader @Mdargusch there is a little chapel in the corner to the left of the courtyard called St. Peter ad Vincula. It‘s a lovely little church and well worth going into on a tour 6y
Mdargusch Good to know. I was always so interested to see where Anne Boleyn lost her head. Now I will have something else to check out! @Itchyfeetreader 6y

Mehso-so

Daisy Dalyrymple cozy mystery about murder at the Tower of London among the residents of the tower/ guards (beefeaters) and regiment stationed there. Interesting information about the inner workings of the Tower but very fluffy cozy and Daisy is totally unbelievable. Got this as audio from Hoopla to listen to while clearing up house after holidays- narrator has a very high pitched shrill voice for Daisy that was annoying. Only one I have read.
