Learning to dogsled and sauna in addition to ski jumping made my time in Finland quite an adventure. I also picked up bits of language, history, and culture from Mo‘s story, which is cute and fun. A good, quick trip!

And I‘m off to Finland! I‘ll be spending my time with Mo Clark, an exchange student in Lahti, and getting some lessons in ski jumping. 😬 It‘ll be an adventure.

First country done for my #LitsyPassport with a stop off in Lahti, Finland ??. Light-hearted YA romance set in the world of ski-jumping. Seemed apropos given that the Olympics are taking place right now. Even though it is lighter affair I learned actual things about Finland - more about the history of skiing and that they call the Northern Lights revontulet, which means "fox fire" after a legend where a fox's tail swats snow into the sky.

Wintry days, so am escaping to Lahti, Finland reading about Mo ski jumping through a study abroad program. Plus there seems to be a very talented very cute boy about...
