This was a total impulse read bc it was free on Amazon but I ended up really enjoying it! While not similar in story or plot, it felt kind of like a Cassandra Clare book. Areally well developed world and characters. Great start to a new series!

The Shadow Children is written in a fast paced way, that will make you want more and more, because the secrets are revealed little by little and you just WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING, you want to understand what the heck is going on, and the ending is no exception.
