Pickpick

One More Acorn by Don Freeman and his son Roy Freeman is a fantasy picture book I will use for guided reading. This is a story was started by Don Freeman, and after he passed away his son decided to finish the writing and to publish this story for his father 30 years later. This is a story about a squirrel gathering nuts before he hibernates for the winter, he is specifically looking for one last acorn.

ChristinB I will use UDL 7.3, minimize threats and distractions as guided reading is a process. And for my ESOL strategies I will give enough wait time for my second language learners. https://donfreeman.info/ this website has information on Don Freeman and the book One More Acorn. I can use this in my classroom to show students more about Don and his drawing styles. #ucflae3414f17 6y
DrSpalding What about your Glog as a resource? You shared this book in class and it was a new one for me. 6y
ChristinB @DrSpalding I used my glog as a resource for my Corduroy Post and I did not want to use it twice. However, my glog is https://edu.glogster.com/glog/don-freeman/2sq0ico11ot 6y
