I started Sappho's poems. The introduction is unreadable, so I'm skipping it and diving right in! This shouldn't take long to read - most of Sappho's poetry has been lost, unfortunately...
When I see you, for a moment,
My voice goes,
My tongue freezes. Fire,
Delicate fire, in the flesh.
Blind, stunned, the sound
Of thunder, in my ears.
1958 edition. So many old gems in this library collection.
