The first and last books on my bookshelf, for the #24in48 Hour 36 challenge!

My bookshelves are a big mess right now and completely disorganized - I have too many books and need to get more shelves, but have no room for more shelves at the moment. #readerproblems

In general, though, my shelves run small books at the top (alphabetically, of course) down to big books at the bottom - this one's at the end because I just got it before Christmas!

This is a treasure! The first novel as described by the author, a sweet romance of an orphan living in a country manor. The fairest in all the land, the envy of another who sets out to ruin her and the love interest of all the men. There's a HEA! It's clear it was an early work and that it wasn't edited for publication by the author - it is a bit rough sometimes - but quite enjoyable for an Alcott fan.
