I absolutely adored this little book!

This book was written by Christian Dior in 1954 so naturally parts are outdated. For example, there is a lot of discussion on frocks.

That being said, there is still relevant advice. The overall theme of the book is elegance and accentuating what makes you look good, which is still useful in today‘s world.

Mehso-so

Finished this little book. I liked this because the fashion style was beautiful. None of the advice really goes with today‘s fashion which I knew before. The reason I was a little disappointed was that the pictures were black and white when discussing colors of fabric used in Dior‘s design. Overall beautiful design as one would expect. 😄

I haven't been active all day because I've been out with my sister and mom. 😅😄
Here is my #thin stack of #thin books for #readathon
The top is poems by Emily Dickinson.
Also my first Agatha Christie book that I just got yesterday to see if I enjoyed them as much as you littens! 💗

howjessicareads Just FYI, The Man in the Brown Suit is really different from most of her books! No famous detective (Poirot or Marple), and written in a different format. I really like it, but if you don't, you might have to try another. :) 7y
Ash.on.the.line Thanks @jess.how 😊 I found it at goodwill and grabbed it but now I'll know that others might be better! 7y
AshleyHoss820 I love Dame Agatha! The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and And Then There Were None are at the top, for me! (edited) 7y
Ash.on.the.line @AshleyHoss820 I'll give them a look next!!! 😄 7y
