Goodreads can‘t decide if I read 73 or 74 books last year, so it‘s a good thing I keep track independently. Here are a few more random statistics to put a bow on my 2021 in Books. 📚

Curiously, except for The Fifth Season, all of the speculative books took place on some version of Earth. 🌏

Don‘t try to add up the genres to get to 74! Some books hit more than one category. 🤪

Kaye I might need a kidney one day ( not joking ), so maybe we could work a deal. I‘m a meat and potatoes person, so have no clue what the foods were that you named off, but I could find some if need be. 8y

Kaye Oh, and if I could live anywhere, it‘d be right where I‘m at, in good old Hillbilly Village, Ohio. I‘ve been here my whole life and although it‘s not exciting, there‘s something good about having roots and living where you are familiar and comfortable, where you, your kids and even one of our grandkids goes to school. 8y

Kaye No, it‘s not really called Hillbilly Village. That‘s my nickname for it. Jokingly, of course. I like it here ♥️ No worries with the kidneys. I try to stay upbeat in here. Let‘s just say I‘m like an old Model T. I have some parts that are wearing out. I‘m thankful for every day I have ♥️ 8y
