This novel is told through #letters between husband and wife, each written by one of the co-authors. #150PnPCoverParty @LeahBergen @CrowCAH

LeahBergen I‘ve read a lot of Carol Shields but not this one. 👍🏻 6y
Lcsmcat @LeahBergen It‘s as good as her “solo” work. I think she writes the wife and Blanche Howard the husband, but it‘s been a few years so I may be wrong. 6y
CrowCAH Such a neat way to tell a story! 6y

One of my favorite epistolary novels, each author writes the #letters of a single character to tell the story of a marriage during a work-related separation. It‘s the only Howard I‘ve read, but she holds up her end to Sheilds very well. Interestingly it was written by letter, as Shields and Howard lived on opposite ends of Canada. #newyearreads @bookloo @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

An epistolary novel that explores the effects of distance and change on a marriage, with each author writing one character‘s letters. Highly recommended. #📫 #emojiNov @RealLifeReading

Lcsmcat @EvieBee It‘s quite good. I‘m a Shields fan. This is the first Howard that I‘ve read but now I want to look for her other work. 6y
