A great graphic novel glimpse into Houdini as man and myth.

'The word "handcuff" started out as "handcop." To cop means to "get a hold of"or "capture" which is why one slang term for "police officer" is "cop."'

This was really cool.

"I just can't help but wonder...will anyone even remember me a hundred years from now?"

I think you'll be pleased to know that yes lol.

This was a cute quick read and could be a fantastic intro to the man for preteens. There were some subtle references to the anti-Semitism at the time which I really appreciated being included (as well as Bess being there). Light read with some funny and some cute/sweet scenes.

Graphic novel #2 for today and I am so excited about this one!

One of this months challenges for the Life & Lit Facebook group was to try and read 6 graphic novels by next Saturday 😁😁😁
