Thanks @Dragon for tagging me for #fivestarpredictions I give out threes and fours like candy, but I'm stingy with my five stars. For me, five is all about the emotional connection: something that struck a strong chord with me and will linger and beg to be reread. Usually these are classics, but occasionally I'll find others. So these are some future five stars from my TBR I hope. And I'll tag @PaperbackReader @bookdrunkard78 and @Patrella !

BookInMyHands I think I had that copy of O Pioneers - don't read the forward!!! It gave away the ending! I wrote a very angry letter to the publisher. 7y

readinginthedark @BookInMyHands Thanks for the warning! That's happened to me a few times, actually. I don't ever read the forewords for classics anymore. They are almost always critical analyses that should really be saved for the end. 7y
batsy @readinginthedark I'm totally game for that! I also have the worst memory so please nudge me whenever you're in the mood to begin and I'll try to join along. The end of the year does seem like the right time for a classic like this one 😉 7y
