The comics are soooooo much darker than the show. The image of the Governor was gross, and I almost cried losing some of the characters again.

June was a good month. I largely read longer books, The Walking Dead, with a couple fun ones like Jeeves and Papergirls thrown in. It was exciting, fun and educational. All of these books were four or five stars. I am loving the Walking Dead as a whole and it was great to be engrossed in The Pillars of The Earth. My history buff side geeked with Queen Isabella.

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Gezemice I completely understand that, I borrowed the rest of the one Wonder Woman series out that I could, and picked up the next couple Bitch Planet, and newest Rat Queens today too! Hahaha. I'm thinking comics and fantasy might just be the escapist light reading I need for a bit. 7y

Ok so I have made two separate lists for two different challenges. I have bought books that I saw on sale. I have huge TBR lists here on Litsy and Goodreads. Not to mention I used to work in a used bookstore and have oodles of books I've owned for a while. Am I crazy that I started reading something completely different? Does anyone else do this or am I the only one? This graphic novel series is sooo good!
