Yesterday was World Softball Day, so I just wanted to share with you guys the collage that I posted to my girls from my high school team. These are from my senior year, and I'm the one on the far right in the top picture, and the bottom left in the group (I almost always played in two braids). My senior year was my last fastpitch year, as I had to turn down my scholarship, but I played for 13 years & loved every one!
With practices and games, this group of girls have really cut into my reading time, but I'm so proud of them! We had a huge win tonight! #softballmom #girlmom #kidsoflitsy
A family on our softball team lost their son in February. He was full term, but his eyes never got to open outside of his mother's womb. Tonight was our first game and we were able to present these decals for our helmets and dedicate our season to their sweet son!
