While I was reading these pages, I understood why the classics are immortal. This period was the best time to read this novel because of the similar conditions between #COVID-19 and plague.

ale.giannoccolo I read this book for the first time when I was 15 because it is an Italian classic in the Italian school plane. But maybe I was too young to appreciate and I don‘t like read when somebody else forced me to do. However, I love this novel: it‘s brilliant and present even if it was written in 1800. I want to read Decameron, too. 3y

eclecticreading @MyBookLife I also picked up Rilke's The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge, Thoreau's Walden, and Turgenev's Fathers and Sons (even though I own a copy already 😊) from this series 😄📚 They're very pretty (and colour-coded too)! ❤️👍🏻 8y
