Morganville Vampires, Volume 1 | Rachel Caine
5 posts | 15 read | 2 to read
The first two novels in the "New York Times" bestselling Morganville Vampires series together for the first time in a new trade paperback edition. Morganville is a small college town in the heart of Texas-not a place that exactly screams "hotbed of creatures of the night." But college freshman Claire Danvers is about to discover why, in Morganville, you should never, ever stay out after dark... "Glass Houses" College freshman Claire Danvers moves off campus and into an old house in the small town of Morganville. Her new roommates have her back when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood... "The Dead Girls' Dance" Claire may have a great roommate and a new boyfriend, but when she's invited to the Dead Girls' Dance all hell breaks loose-literally. Because this time, the living and the dead are ready to tear up the night...

Been sick in bed for the past week with the flu and strep throat. Feeling a tad better today and it‘s the first day I‘m fever free, so I‘m going to do a bit of a re-read with my favorite vampire series 🧛🏻‍♀️💉

tracey38 Oh no! What a week you've had. Glad you're feeling a bit better. I enjoy this series, too. 5y

My post-work, post-dinner book for the evening. I usually don‘t read fantasy/vampire books, but I‘m making an exception for this series because Bethany loaned me THE ENTIRE flippin‘ series and I feel obligated. They‘re super good so far!

jillannjohn I read these with my teenaged daughter and we both loved them! 6y

I absolutely love this series by Rachel Caine. Its very suspenseful. Has some drama with some romance. This book has both the first book (Glass House) and the second book (Dead Girls' Dance) in one. With a special glance of the third book (Midnight Alley).

I've read the first book and half of the second in this series. Bought the full set at a garage sale for my classroom a while back and looking forward to getting back into it. #readJanuary #bookface
