Hearing one of her tires explode,

There once was a student named Sonny
Who bought books of jokes with his money.
He ate one at lunchtime,
Then gave as his punchline,
“That tasted a little bit funny.“

I think all students would really enjoy reading and listening to limericks, especially the ones in this book because they are extremely funny. Maybe even just read one different one every day at the start of the morning meeting just so the students can begin to get a feel of poetry.

I think students of all ages will find these poems to be humorous. It would be a great way to start a class or read to have students make their own limericks.

This is a book of limericks which are very short (5 lines) poems that use rhyming and a musical beat to keep children engaged. They are typically humorous and every child will find them funny. Each line is between 8 to 10 syllables which adds to the ease of reading them. It would be a great introduction to poetry for many young readers.

The book is a book of limericks. It has short, rhyming poems, that are very humorous to the reader. I read the first poem of the book and it was fast-paced and felt like a silly joke. I noticed that the first two lines rhymed with the fifth line and the middle two rhymed with each other.
