Another great book in the A Brit in the FBI series. More bumps, bruises and concussions for Nicholas and Mike in this adventure in Italy. They are off to Venice to help the Fox rescue her husband from psychotic twins who are trying to find the notebooks from their mother, which were handed down the generations from Leonardo DaVinci, to allow them to manipulate weather events. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

My first book borrowed from the library !!!
It took me a while to get a library card because they are hardly ever open!!
So how do you all decided which to buy and which to borrow?
Or do you just re-borrow or if you want to reread??

SassyBookworm I love borrowing books! I‘m sure if I had time to reread I would just reborrow but I have found so many to add to my TBR I haven‘t yet! 6y

I finished this one too. Hot, hot weather and storms have let me get a lot of reading 📖 done. Not my favorite in this series but still enjoyable. Took me longer than usual.

MonicaLoves2Read I thought the same thing. I like J T Ellison, so I was thinking it was going to be a really good book, with them teaming up. Kinda disappointed. 7y
Booknerd2 @Monica5 I feel the same way. Love both authors but this series is starting to lag. 7y
MonicaLoves2Read I know. I hope the next one in the series picks up 7y

Bailedbailed

I bailed on this one. I did not finish. I enjoy Catherine Coulter but this book was not up to her standards. Characters were not relatable and the conversations, UGH!!! Made me roll my eyes many times. I gave it a good old college try. I did not bail till I was half way through the book. And usually when I get that far I can finish. This was just so poorly written and completely inane. I just couldn't do it.

cathysaid Good for you! 👏👏 Why do we feel bad when we bail? No one cheers when you fill yourself with bad food, so why do we feel pressured to fill ourselves with bad writing? Nope. Nope. Nope. Too much savory reading out there to be enjoyed! 8y
Reecaspieces @cathysaid ain't that the truth!! 8y
MatchlessMarie Kudos! I'm still trying to be ok with bailing. I always feel like I need to finish so I can earn rights to rail on how terrible it is 😂 8y
