7 posts | 9 read | 2 to read
Keisha Ceylon is a psychic. At least, that's what she tells people. She watches the news for stories of missing people, then waits a few days and goes to see the family. She tells them shes had a vision and that she may know where their missing loved one isfor a price, of course. Keisha's latest mark is Wendell Garfield, whose wife disappeared a week ago. She's seen him on TV, pleading for his wife to come home, or for whoever took her to let her go. Keisha tells Wendell her vision of what might have happened. Unluckily for Keisha, her vision turns out to be alarmingly close to the truth. As she wades deeper into the mystery, Keisha inadvertently finds herself caught in a web of suspicion and violence thats much more complicated than she first thoughtand which may end up with her own disappearance Also includes a preview of Linwood Barclays newest thriller, Trust Your Eyes

This was good. Linwood Barclay is great with suspense and I thought it was interesting the way he pulled off the main character. The story was interesting if a little predictable but I still really enjoyed reading it.

Such a really easy read so easy I read it in a day. The title is really apt you really could not see what was coming. Although the topic is a murder it feels like there is a lighthearted element to the book which makes it fresh and different. Love this author

My auto-buy author is Linwood Barclay. I've been a fan of his since his days as a humour columnist with the Toronto Star. The only books of his I don't have here are A Tap on the Window and his Zack Walker mysteries; those are at my parents' place.
