My Hero Academia, Vol. 2
My Hero Academia, Vol. 2 | Kouhei Horikoshi
What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called "Quirks" at age four? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless? Getting into U.A. High School was difficult enough, but it was only the beginning of Izuku's long road toward becoming a superhero. The new students all have some amazing powers, and although Izuku has inherited All Might's abilities, he can barely control them. Then the first-year students are told they will have to compete just to avoid being expelled!

5✨ Learning a little battle training and their first battle with villains. The teachers get pretty beat up along with a few of the students. Ends on a cliffhanger so I‘m glad I have the next one ready to go even though I‘ve seen the anime it‘s still got me on the edge of my seat. #SeriesLove @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

I‘ve been having a busy month, but I should be back on track as soon as I catch up on sleep. I have 6 goals for this readathon: 1.) Log Bookley time 2.) If I haven‘t already read my last two My Hero Academia 3.) Read my Sailor Moon first volume. 4.) catch up on my daily reading of “Of Heaven and Earth” 5.) Try to finish two audiobooks 6.) Read a chapter a day of Sweet Valley, Calendar Girl, and Dinoverse. @Andrew65 #JoyousJanuary

Trying to read while the boyfriend plays Kingdom Hearts...try being the key word here. I desperately want to play and it's taking all my self control not to push him over. Soon...*steeples fingers* soon... 😈

I started this series not to long ago, and I'm really enjoying it so far 😸 lots of action and fighting scenes 👊🏻 which.. isn't typically the thing I'd usually go for, but I feel like it works extremely well in this series. Likable characters, unpredictable story.. I'm just really interested and excited to see how this develops/progresses 😼 #myheroacademia #manga #mangareaders #mangalovers

Serotonin Haven't read the manga yet, but the anime was quite enjoyable 👍 7y

Here the series successfully finds a tone and rhythm to call its own. After the series introduces its ersatz league of villains, main and supporting characters realize that the sheer power behind their quirks will not supplant strategy and teamwork - you'll believe that sticky rubber balls can save the day! It also helps that the heroes' trials greatly occur during school activities, allowing the mostly-teen cast to grow as people while they learn
