Duncan and Dolores | 
We actually did have a cat named Duncan! Sadly passed away. I have no pets-reading-buddies except for my grandchildren. Here's a photo of 2 of the 4, and their cat named Maggie. My grands have all been reading buddies; even the 18 yo still likes being read to
