Nice book though I prefer the first one.

Pickpick

This sequel is still about family and friendships but also the love of your country and how to find the best way for everyone to progress. Recommended!

‘Do not show the others in case I am doing it wrong‘

I do love the way Katar is hesitant about writing her letter and the contrast between her letter and Britta‘s. I think you do have to have read the first book, Princess Academy, to fully appreciate this one.

‘Your head will be fine,‘ said Miri. ‘It‘s your neck you should worry about.‘

The moment Katar and Miri cement their friendship.

I'm currently reading the book, Princess Academy; The Palace of Stone. Although it sounds like another princess book for younger children, this few book series is filled with action. In the last book, a few mountain girls working in quarries are taken to an academy where they are taught to have manners, but the academy is robbed and taken over by bandits. Now, they must go down to a kingdom and help their friend who happens to be the princess.

Pickpick

I probably liked it even better than book one. I thought experiencing the city with Miri was great and the troubles of the kingdom and unrest felt justified. Again I felt bad for Bridget who was just sweet and I liked the unexpected villains.

I love this so much. There are times I miss some of my family so much (both those who are still alive & those who passed) and it makes me feel alone. Yet I want the reminder I will see them again whether in this life or the next.
