The Complete Pink Floyd
The Complete Pink Floyd: The Ultimate Reference | Glenn Povey
2 posts | 1 reading | 2 to read
This is THE essential book for all Pink Floyd fans: the most amazingly comprehensive guide to the band's entire career, complete with rare and never-before-seen photographs plus key memorabilia. Representing years of painstaking research by Floyd expert and documentarian Glenn Povey, it covers every event of note, and includes a full record of concerts, rehearsals, recordings, releases (vinyl and otherwise), interviews, set lists, and new material about the Abbey Road recording sessions. The Complete Pink Floyd is simply an unequalled look at one of rock 'n' roll's most innovative groups from its beginnings to the present.

Day 2: When I think of transcending or transcendence I think of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, among others. And Comfortably Numb is one of the first songs that comes to mind that gives me those epic transcendental vibes.

My wife got this for me for Christmas. Let me just say, this isn't a book you read cover to cover. This in the definitive guide to all things Floyd. From their founding to their solo albums and everything between. It is packed with facts about recordings and concerts. If there's ever a bar argument this will settle it.
