Elizabeth is the wife of a diplomat who is posted to Kosovo. She gets involved in charity work whilst there, and also learns to be a beekeeper.

This is a gentle book, and the author herself says she‘s not really interested in politics so it‘s more about the people she meets, their customs and traditions, with some aspects of the war included.

It wasn‘t a WOW read, but very interesting.
