A week of kindness or the seven deadly elements
A week of kindness or the seven deadly elements | Max Ernst
3 posts | 4 read | 4 to read
The great surrealist's collage masterpiece was printed in 1934 in a limited edition of five now-priceless pamphlets. This single-volume edition contains all of the original publication's 182 bizarre, darkly humorous scenes of violent dreams and erotic fantasies. "One of the clandestine classics of our century." — The New York Times.

Pickpick

A surrealist novel told almost strictly in pictures. That... Is exactly what it is, and it is a beautiful thing. If you love odd art it's for you, if you love surrealism, it's for you, if you want something on your bookshelf to make the people in your life who rifle through your books say, "umm... WHAT?", this book is for you.

A peculiar sort of book for a peculiar sort of prompt. I don't tend to take books out on dates, usually I deploy them as people shields on public transport.
That being said I still managed to #takeabookonadate in a more literal kind of way.

Here's a #bookwithpictures and not really much else. But there are some wonderful and unusual pictures. #seasonsreadings2016
