Pickpick

Beautiful collection of poems. There were a few I had to read multiple times because they were so affecting! It really evoked the sense of being in the South. I'm sure many things went over my head.

This poem resonated with me a lot.

Especially (for some reason), "There is a dent in the soap the shape of your thumb."

#SeasonsReadings2016 I read Blood at the Root a couple of months ago before #brlive . Patrick Phillips is so smart and I enjoyed seeing him on the panels. I am really interested in reading his #Poetry #TBR
