#JuneTunz #scars I probably should have dug a bit deeper for this prompt but it's been 'a day' & the tagged book is what I thought of. It's a mystery/thriller about a model, Ciara, who wakes up in the hospital with amnesia, having escaped 'The Cutter'-a serial killer who murdered three women & who carved ugly words in her skin, ending her modeling career. I won't tell you the rest.😱I did find out there is a 2nd book out so it's now on the #TBR.📚

When you intend to change it up & NOT order avocado toast but then your server tells you they have 1 ripe avocado they saved especially for you this morning.💚😆I enjoyed this ARC's intriguing plot, pacing & main character so it gets a pick, but I was disappointed that the villain & details seemed too obvious to me. I like to be surprised by a thriller & wasn't. A few things came together too conveniently-but overall a quick & entertaining read.👍

I know what you're thinking; "Is she going to post that avocado toast every darn day?!" Maybe!?Today's brunch of #thespicygarlicavocadotoast was made at home-not the coffeeshop. We're having another wind event-3rd weekend in a row & supposed to have strong wind gusts all week so I'm mostly inside today. At least there isn't the driving rain & the power has stayed on (so far).?Felt like a thriller so catching up on a NetGalley ARC. Happy Sunday!

DebinHawaii @8little_paws It's the part that has me addicted. It's a spicy garlic aioli with a sprinkle of celery salt that my local coffeeshop serves. DebinHawaii @Shortstack @Lola @Laalaleighh It is just so good! 😋👍 @SaraFair It's what they call strong storm surges & storm fronts that aren't hurricanes or named tropical storms. Lots of ongoing heavy winds with gusts of 50+ mile that go on for days & cause lots of power outages and damages. 7y
