With only two months left until I move to Germany, this collection of essays about the neighbourhoods, people and places of Weimar-era Berlin is my Christmas gift to myself this year. 😁 #nonfiction

BookThingo You're moving to Germany??? How exciting! 7y
danistclair @BookThingo yes! After 8 years of German, I'm going to write a thesis for my degree. 7y
danistclair @BookThingo In a surprise to noone but my academic supervisors, it's probably going to be on Frauenliterar (women's literature), which can be used to mean either feminist literature like Greer or chick-lit/romance novels 7y
BookThingo @danistclair That's amazing. How long are you planning to stay? 7y
danistclair @BookThingo argh my English autocorrect messed up Frauenliteratur but you get the point. I'll be there for a year, then back to wrap up my degree 7y
