Pickpick

Dark atmospheres, splatter, pure horror and vampires!
The perfect recipe for a book that I will remember forever!
It reminds me a lot of #Theythirst by McCammon but they're not too similar to each other.
I just didn't like the female characters, they're very stereotyped... but it's the only thing I didn't like of this book that bring us back to the '80s 🤟🏻

TheNeverendingTBR Been wanting to read this for years! 3y
Ast_Arslan @TheNeverendingTBR I loved it! I found it surprisingly good ❣ 3y

1. Ninfadora Tonks 💜 eccentric, loyal, true to myself

2. Well I had a family fight actually 😅 My dad's parents hate me and my mother and I couldn't stand any longer 😅

3. Myself actually. I worked hard and I can now see some results

@Mavey @TheNeverendingTBR @xicanti @ozma.of.oz wanna play?

I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it. Some will be old, some will be new - don't judge me, I have a lot of books.

Day 2nd

Join the fun if you want!

Mehso-so

The first splatterpunk novel published in 1986. Maybe I‘ve read too much horror because I didn‘t think it was overly gross. The story was ok. Writing was alright. It was kinda dated. If you grew up in NY in the late 80‘s/early 90‘s you may get a kick out of it just for the nostalgia.

Yes, I‘m reading about vampires killing people on trains while riding the train!

Love these awesome author pics!

Avanders Love it! Curious about the book itself, too! ☺️ 6y
LynnMPK @Avanders I just started it but I think it‘s about vampires hunting on the NYC subway system. 6y
