Frustrated by her unsuccessful attempts to become pregnant, genetic researcher Lucy Morrigan--living with her boyfriend in her family's crumbling old family mansion--successfully clones her grandmother from a blood stain on an old apron, but instead of a baby, she brings to life a twenty-two-year-old woman, confused by the modern world and by the remnants of lives she cannot remember. I don‘t know how or where I got this book (has this happened to you?) but I enjoyed it. A genetic researcher who hasn‘t been able to get pregnant uses blood from her deceased grandmothers apron to clone her grandmother. Unfortunately, her effort doesn‘t turn out as planned- this is where the story gets very interesting! The book is filled with interesting characters and has a unique plot, it‘s also a nice easy read!
