The Importance of Being Wicked
The Importance of Being Wicked | Miranda Neville
4 posts | 5 read | 2 to read
The rules of society don't apply to Caro and her coterie of bold men and daring women. But when passions flare, even the strongest will surrender to the law of love . . . Thomas, Duke of Castleton, has every intention of wedding a prim and proper heiress. That is, until he sets eyes on the heiress's cousin, easily the least proper woman he's ever met. His devotion to family duty is no defense against the red-headed vixen whose greatest asset seems to be a talent for trouble . . . Caroline Townsend has no patience for the oh-so-suitable (and boring) men of the ton. So when the handsome but stuffy duke arrives at her doorstep, she decides to put him to the test. But her scandalous exploits awaken a desire in Thomas he never knew he had. Suddenly Caro finds herself falling for this most proper dukewhile Thomas discovers there's a great deal of fun in a little bit of wickedness.

How do you feel about books using the same title as another book?
Good?
Bad?
Indifferent?

I‘d love to hear your thoughts.

Eyelit Lol, not related... but I was going to ask how you got GR search engine to recognize a misspelled word (their search engine sucks at intuitive searches) then realized you did spell correctly I just couldn‘t see the first part (making that m look like an n) 😂 4y
BookNAround It can be confusing but you can‘t copyright a title so it actually happens a lot. It‘s really tough when the books come out at the same time like Kate Atkinson‘s Life After Life and Jill McCorkle‘s Life After Life which were wildly different books but came out the same month and were both #1 on the IndieNext list for that month. 4y
CrowCAH @Eyelit yes, the search bar only shows soo many characters and the curser was at the end. Lol I agree, you pretty much have to know the full title. 4y
CrowCAH @BookNAround I know, it‘s unfortunate title of books and songs and be copyrighted. As an author, I‘d want my title to be unique and stand in its own. Not borrow off of another‘s “known” title. 4y

#MoonReflections

Thank you @Klou for the tag!

1. Yes, actually currently snowing, just 1-3” this weekend.
2. Wrapping myself in my blanket on the suede couch and reading, crocheting, talking with the family.
I like to read romances for more lighter fare and really dive into.
3. Love ya 😘 @VioletCavalier @Cadyly

Meaw_catlady Thanks for sharing ! Blessings 🖤🌝 4y

Started this book for an online book club, through Facebook‘s group The Regency Salon.

Read the first chapter and already it‘s a delight!
