Finally got my hands on this one from earlier in the series. Wrapped it up last night and stayed up too late (again). Excellent pace, storyline and mystery. I always love the varying perspectives between Bill Smith and Lydia Chin. This time Bill faces off against a street gang, politicians, real estate agents and a crusty lady in charge of a nursing home! Throughout Rozan explores themes of doing the wrong things for the right intentions.

I adore mysteries. S.J. Rozen's series has two of my favorites. I especially love that the books in the series alternate POV between the two sleuths, Lydia Chin and Bill Smith!

EloisaJames I love this series!! So sad it ended. 7y
Well-ReadNeck @EloisaJames Is it for sure done? I keep hoping there will be another, even though she keeps writing other stuff instead #DenialAintJustARiverInEgypt 7y
EloisaJames @Well-ReadNeck I'm pretty sure. I went to a book event and she said she lost the contract for those books. 7y
