My avatar I picked when I first signed up for Litsy. I just looked happy. There's something about holding something emitting light that seemed to fit books... but it's actually a sparkler. Every year since we were broke college kids, my husband gets me an Oreo McFlurry and just as the clock strikes 12, making it officially my bday, I get it with a sparkler. This one's from my 30th, a few years ago now.
