IT'S HERE! The comic that blazed through Kickstarter during Black History Month 2016. In a world that already hates and fears them -- what if only Black people had superpowers. After miraculously surviving being gunned down by police, a young man learns that he is part of the biggest lie in history. Now he must decide whether it's safer to keep it a secret or if the truth will set him free.

Man, this graphic novel just blew me away. The concept of only black people having super powers and that being the explanation for all the oppression is fascinating. Seeing how far and extensive the cover up is and having it placed in the current era of reactions was perfection. I love the story that they are building and will happily follow this ride.

Immediately relevant. What an interesting premise and just wow! I endlessly cringed at how shitty all the white people are in this. And Mann 🤮

This was just not a good fit for me. I was *really* intrigued by the concept (modern day black people secretly have extraordinary abilities) but it wasn't enough to make me like what is still basically a superhero comic. Kind of hated the art style as well. This was extra disappointing following the disappointment that was #BingoLove

Day 4 of #riotgrams Current Reads. I have been putting off reading this forever and ever because I never felt emotionally prepared. I realized that I will never be so I'm just gonna read the thing.

Since I don't feel like starting my book club read. I thought that I would work on my bookish resolution of reading more graphic novels/comics. #comics #graphicnovel #amreading

Really great start to a new series. It moved fast, but I'm excited to see where it goes. My only complaint is that it had TWO previews at the end so I thought it was going to be a lot longer. #catsoflitsy
