The Kill List: A Jamie Sinclair Novel | Nichole Christoff
2 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
In this taut debut thriller, Nichole Christoff introduces a savvy private investigator with nerves of steeland a shattered heart. As a top private eye turned security specialist, Jamie Sinclair has worked hard to put her broken marriage behind her. But when her lying, cheating ex-husband, army colonel Tim Thorp, calls with the news that his three-year-old daughter has been kidnapped, he begs Jamie to come find her. For the sake of the child, Jamie knows she cant refuse. Now, despite the past, shell do everything in her power to bring little Brooke Thorp home alive. Soon Jamie is back at Fort Leedsthe army base in New Jerseys Pine Barrens where she grew up, the only child of a two-star generalchasing down leads and forging an uneasy alliance with the stern military police commander and the exacting FBI agent working Brookes case. But because Jamies father is now a U.S. senator, her recent run-in with a disturbed stalker is all over the news, and when she starts receiving gruesome threats echoing the stalkers last words, she cant shake the feeling that her investigation may be about more than a missing girland that someone very powerful is hiding something very significant . . . and very sinister. Praise for The Kill List Intelligent and fast-paced, Nichole Christoffs debut thriller takes off like a rocket and never slows down! Breakfast and back to a started, but long neglected NetGalley ARC on my Kindle before doing some work. This is the 4th book in this series but the last two aren't on Litsy yet so I am tagging it under this one. These are the Eggs Caprese (scrambled egg rounds with pesto, cheese & tomato-yum!) & a Honey-Cinnamon Soy Latte from my local coffeeshop/satellite office. 😀Hope everyone's Thanksgiving Eve is going well.👍🍁🍂 #breakfastreading

Jinjer Satellite office. 😀 7y
GlitteryOtters Hmmm...I wonder how that dish would work made with Follow Your Heart's VeganEgg?? 🤔 This sounds like something my husband would adore in vegan form! 7y

Was helping run a registration table for a friend tonight & got to leave an hour earlier than planned. Yay! It's 8:00 PM, I'm home on the couch w/ a leftover mashup (pasta + shrimp taco filling which works pretty well together), new EWeekly, ARC of the 4th book in a mystery/thriller series (not on Litsy yet so it's attached to the 1st book), Netflix movie (Eye in the Sky) & plans for cream, chocolate, or maybe both soon. Rocking a Saturday night!

melbeautyandbooks Sounds fabulous! I have found some great books from EW reviews. And it is just a fun read. 8y
