pickThis is another East of the Sun, West of the Moon fairy tale retelling. Although, more modern than my previous read, East by Edith Pattou. Cassie grew up in a Arctic research lab tagging polar bears. Like East, this was a fast paced novel. They cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time. Some parts of the book were sort of glossed over, but overall I devoured this book! It was an easy, fast read and I'm starting to enjoy this fairytale 😃

I first read this retelling of East of the Sun, West of the Moon years ago. It keeps pretty tight to the original framework while fleshing out heroine and the polar bear that comes to claim her.
pickI read this book a couple of years ago after getting sucked into the cover and the fairytale like synopsis. A girl, a polar bear King, a curse, you get the gist. It was fun and the end was well done, I'd say it's worth a read if you want to send your thoughts to the north on a hot summer day. 😉
