Compared to the first two books in this trilogy, it took me a little longer to get into this one. Long before the end, however, I was completely absorbed by the story, and was a sobbing mess by the last chapter. The most important thing I've learned about Nancy E. Turner's books is to never get too attached to any of the characters, because she will not hesitate to kill them off.

intothehallofbooks I **LOVE** her stories. I haven‘t read this one yet. But I truly think about her characters all the time. 3y
