Welcome to Litsy!

Wow - it has been a long week away from Litsy for me. I had company, and then it was the end of the grading period at work. There has been no time to read until this evening. I was finally able to sit down and knock out this book. It was a fun read that had some creepy stories paired with interesting historical facts about the area in which I live. It's a good book for the season. #scaretober

I have #bookmarks stashed all over the house, in my car, and at work. Despite this, I often resort to using receipts, post-it notes, junk mail, and anything I find close to me. I can be a disorganized wreck 😂 The bookmarks in this picture are from a pile stashed next to my recliner. #booktober

I am so excited that October is here and it is time for spooky books! I have a stack of books ready to go, but this book is #mostanticipatedreads I love to read books that have an historical tie, and especially when that tie is to my community. I hope it is a great read. #booktober

Oh, Costco and your book aisle. I just can't resist you. I went to Costco to buy food for my family and bought books for myself instead. I even put some food back so I could get books. I just could not resist these two spooky titles that will be perfect for October!
