Story time!

This was my favourite Nancy Drew book, also the one from which I picked this childhood habit. In the story, a character tells Nancy that some rare book owners would circle a specific page number (in pencil) in every book in their collection as a way to ID them in case of theft. I thought this was SO cool and began doing it to my books (this didn't last long). I have no idea why this page number though. Might bring it back.
